Upon your snow-white shoulder

Upon your snow-white shoulder
I've leaned my head to rest,
And secretly I listen
To the yearning of your breast.

Blue-coated Hussars come riding,
Blowing their horn at your door,
And tomorrow, my love will leave me,
And I shall see her no more.

And if you leave me tomorrow,
You'll still be mine today,
And in your arms so lovely,
Doubly blessed, I'll stay.
