Oh pretty fisher maiden,
Row your boat to the land,
Come over, sit by my side,
We'll whisper hand in hand.

Lay your head upon my bosom,
And fear no harm from me,
For you do trust unfearing,
Every day the savage sea.

My heart is like the sea,
With storm and ebb and flow,
And many a pretty pearl,
Lies in its depth below.
